Microsoft is hiring a full-time Senior Technical Program Management professional in Vancouver, British Columbia, to support the Microsoft Fabric platform organization within Azure Data. The role combines advanced technical customer support, cross-functional program leadership and deep troubleshooting across Microsoft Fabric workloads.
This individual-contributor position is designed for candidates who can work across engineering, support and customer-facing teams to resolve complex technical issues, improve product quality and strengthen the support experience for strategic Microsoft Fabric customers. The role requires one day per week in the office and less than 25% travel.
What This Technical Program Management Role Involves
The position sits within Fabric ACE, a specialized engineering and customer-escalation team focused on complex and business-critical issues across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI workloads. The role involves diagnosing escalated technical problems, working directly with customers and internal teams, and helping accelerate issue resolution through deep technical collaboration.
The successful candidate will also contribute to broader product and operational improvements by working with Product Group, Engineering, Support and Customer Advisory teams. The position combines technical troubleshooting, customer engagement, cross-functional coordination, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

The minimum qualification is a bachelor’s degree plus four or more years of experience in engineering, product or technical program management, data analysis or product development, or equivalent experience. Candidates must also have at least two years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Preferred qualifications include eight or more years of relevant experience, six or more years managing cross-functional projects, at least one year reading or writing code, and deep knowledge of at least two Microsoft Fabric workloads.
This is a full-time role based in Vancouver with one day per week in the office and less than 25% travel. The published Canadian base salary range for Technical Program Management IC4 is CAD $114,400 to $203,900 per year. The position also requires successful completion of the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
