About This Liquidity Product Leadership Role

TD is expanding and modernizing its transaction banking product suite as part of a multi-year digital transformation. The centralized Product Management organization is intended to bring greater consistency, scale and efficiency to product decisions across Canadian Commercial Banking, U.S. Commercial Banking and TD Securities.

The Director, Liquidity Product Management will define the strategic roadmap for deposit and liquidity solutions while balancing client requirements, regulatory expectations, operational capabilities and commercial objectives. The role is expected to influence senior stakeholders and guide major decisions affecting product development, market positioning and long-term business growth.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The Director will take ownership of the liquidity product portfolio from strategic planning through commercialization and ongoing performance management. The position requires close collaboration with technology, operations, sales, finance, risk and compliance teams across multiple business segments.

Product Strategy

Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for liquidity products that reflects client demand, regulatory obligations, competitive conditions and TD’s revenue priorities.

Product Lifecycle Management

Liquidity Products and Market Development

The Director will serve as a senior subject matter expert for liquidity solutions such as virtual accounts, notional pooling, cash concentration, sweep arrangements, intraday liquidity and investment services. Candidates should understand how these products help corporate and institutional clients manage cash positions, centralize balances and improve working capital visibility.

The role also involves directing market research and assessing developments that could affect the portfolio. This may include changes in client behaviour, new banking technology, competitive products, regulatory requirements, strategic partnerships and emerging treasury management practices across Canada and the United States.

Experience, Education and Compensation

TD is seeking candidates with at least eight years of hands-on experience in liquidity product management, treasury services or transaction banking. Applicants should have managed strategic product portfolios and demonstrated success developing product roadmaps, commercializing solutions and delivering complex enhancements at scale.

A bachelor’s degree is required, while an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred. TD lists a base salary range of $150,000 to $185,000 CAD. The role is also eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award based on business and individual performance. The position is full time, on site and scheduled for 37.5 hours per week.
