ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cashier Assistant at Costco in Laval, you will provide direct support to Cashiers while delivering a high level of member service. You’ll help pack merchandise, retrieve carts, manage register area cleanliness, and ensure smooth checkout operations. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pack member orders into boxes and assist during checkout transactions.
- Retrieve shopping carts and keep the front-end area organized and clear.
- Support Cashiers by performing cart retrieval, merchandise restocking, and related tasks.
- Collect and transport merchandise returns to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain cleanliness of registers and surrounding areas; remove debris and empty trash as needed.
- Perform clean-up duties and assist with department closing procedures.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to Costco members.
- Assist other warehouse departments when required.
