Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.
- Execute UPS safe and defensive driving methods.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages.
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing company-provided uniform.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in navigating using maps, GPS devices, and map books.
- Possession of a valid Ontario G driver’s license.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract with no violations in the past year and no more than two in the last 36 months.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage: $18.00/hour (Base Rate $17.30/hr. + Bonus of $0.70/hr.).
- Guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement up to $35.89/hour after 48 months of service.
- Paid training and weekly pay via direct deposit.
- Overtime pay and personal paid days off after 60 days of probation.
- Two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service (additional weeks based on tenure).

Working Conditions
This role involves working in outdoor environments, with exposure to varying temperatures. You will also need to adhere to UPS’s appearance guidelines, wearing the company-provided uniform. Monthly union dues ($52) and a one-time union initiation fee ($50) will be deducted after completing 90 working days with UPS.
