TD Bank is hiring a Vice President, ETF Distribution, Eastern Canada, for a full-time hybrid position based in Montréal, Quebec. This senior distribution role supports TD Asset Management’s efforts to expand ETF sales, strengthen relationships with investment professionals, and increase the organization’s presence across Eastern Canada.
The position is suited to an experienced investment professional with detailed knowledge of exchange-traded funds, capital markets, portfolio construction, and institutional or wealth-management distribution. The successful candidate will act as a regional ETF strategist while working closely with clients, sales teams, product specialists, marketing partners, and senior leadership.
About the ETF Distribution Leadership Role
The Vice President will help develop and execute TD Asset Management’s ETF business strategy throughout Eastern Canada. This includes identifying market opportunities, positioning investment solutions, supporting existing sales relationships, and helping financial professionals understand how TD ETFs may fit within different portfolio models and market conditions.
The position combines strategic planning with direct client engagement. Regular activities may include meetings with investment counsellors, portfolio managers, family offices, ETF strategists, institutional investors, and national head offices. The role also involves presenting at branches, offices, industry conferences, and other professional events.
Key Areas of Responsibility
This senior position covers regional sales leadership, investment education, relationship management, and collaboration with several TD Asset Management business units.
ETF Business Strategy
Develop and carry out a regional ETF distribution plan aligned with TD Asset Management’s broader business objectives and sales priorities.
Client Solution Guidance
Help clients and prospective clients evaluate TDAM investment solutions based on market conditions, portfolio construction needs, and investment models.
Regional Sales Development
Lead ETF sales activity across Eastern Canada and identify opportunities with wealth managers, institutional investors, portfolio managers, and family offices.
Internal Collaboration
Work with wholesaling, product, marketing, and head-office teams to support prospecting, product positioning, sales materials, and client communication.
Market Education
Provide presentations and thought leadership related to ETFs, capital markets, portfolio construction, and investment practice management.
Leadership Reporting
Share regular updates with senior leadership regarding regional sales performance, client feedback, industry developments, and changing ETF market trends.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
TD is seeking a candidate with a university degree and a strong understanding of ETFs, capital markets, and portfolio construction. The employer also requires the ability to translate investment knowledge into a practical business strategy and communicate that strategy effectively to clients, prospects, and internal partners.
Experience working with asset managers, asset owners, or institutional investors may be beneficial. Established relationships within the investment industry are preferred. Professional designations such as the Chartered Investment Manager designation or Chartered Financial Analyst designation are considered assets rather than mandatory requirements.

Work Environment, Compensation and Travel
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Montréal, Quebec, with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Travel and flexibility around working hours are required because the position includes client meetings, office visits, branch presentations, conferences, and industry events across Eastern Canada.
TD lists an annual base salary range of $96,900 to $136,800 CAD. The role may also qualify for discretionary variable compensation based on individual and business performance. The final base salary may depend on experience, skills, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and organizational requirements.
