About the Global HR Analytics Leadership Role
The Director & Global Head of HR Analytics and Data Office serves as the primary leader for Global Human Resources data strategy and analytics. The position oversees the development of data standards, governance practices, reporting frameworks, analytical products, security controls, and technology capabilities aligned with Scotiabank’s enterprise data governance model.
A major focus of the role is transforming workforce information into practical insights. This includes employee research, predictive modelling, data mining, behavioural science, self-service reporting, and advanced visualization designed to improve workforce planning and employee experience.

HR Data Strategy
Lead the design and implementation of global human resources data strategies, standards, procedures, products, and roadmaps.

Reporting and Visualization
Oversee monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting while improving self-service tools, dashboards, and visualization capabilities.
Data Governance
Establish data quality rules, security practices, monitoring standards, and remediation processes aligned with the Bank’s governance framework.
Technology and AI Enablement
Partner with IT to strengthen data pipelines, cloud tools, machine learning, large language models, and supporting analytics infrastructure.

Education and Professional Experience
Applicants should hold a post-secondary degree in a quantitative, computer science, data, or analytics-related field. A relevant master’s degree is considered desirable.
Scotiabank requires at least seven years of progressive and practical experience in people analytics and data management, together with a successful record in analytical reporting and the implementation or management of supporting technology systems.
