Amazon is hiring a Vendor Manager in Toronto, Ontario, to support the Canada Consumables business and manage strategic relationships with major brands across categories including Beauty, Grocery, Health and Personal Care, and Baby.
This commercial role combines vendor management, category strategy, negotiations, pricing, profitability and business analytics. The successful candidate will work with internal teams across merchandising, buying, inventory management, operations, marketing and finance to improve performance for Amazon.ca customers and vendor partners.
Managing Growth Across Amazon Canada Consumables
The Vendor Manager will work directly with established brands and manufacturers to improve selection, value and convenience across Amazon.ca. The position involves managing key business relationships while using customer insights and data to identify opportunities for category growth and stronger commercial performance.
Because Consumables is an important part of Amazon Canada’s retail business, the role provides broad exposure to general management responsibilities. Employees in this position may work across pricing, forecasting, merchandising, product launches, inventory planning and profitability while developing a detailed understanding of how an online retail category operates.

New Product Launches
Coordinate the introduction of new products while working with internal teams responsible for merchandising, pricing, inventory and marketing.
Category Strategy
Develop vendor and category-level growth plans using customer insights, business performance data and market opportunities.
Cross-Functional Execution
Collaborate with buying, operations, finance, inventory management and online marketing teams to improve the performance of key brands.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in retail, operations, product management, program management, business management or consulting. The official posting also requires experience with negotiations and delivering measurable business results.

Compensation and Employment Information
Amazon has published an annual base salary range of CAD $61,400 to CAD $102,600 for this Toronto-based position. Final compensation will depend on factors including professional experience, qualifications and location.
