FedEx is hiring a full-time Operations Supervisor in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to lead station sort activities, guide Cargo Handlers and support safe, accurate and efficient package movement.

Leading Daily Sort Operations
The Operations Supervisor oversees specific day-to-day sorting activities within the station and provides direct leadership to assigned Cargo Handlers. Sort Operation Oversight

Coaching and Mentoring
Provide practical guidance, feedback and knowledge support to help employees improve performance and follow correct package handling procedures.
Service Recovery
Identify potential service failures and act quickly to support package recovery, reduce delays and maintain shipment reliability.
Safety and Compliance
Help ensure work activities, administrative processes and employee practices comply with FedEx procedures and applicable government regulations.
Workflow Improvement
Review operational processes, identify unnecessary complexity and support practical improvements without reducing service quality.
Education and Leadership Experience
Applicants must have a college degree and either two years of FedEx sort operations or senior-level hourly experience, or two years of supervisory experience in a related industry. The EXCEL Leadership Development Stream is listed as a preferred qualification.
A valid driver’s licence and a good driving record are also required. Candidates should be prepared to complete all basic and recurring training, including maintaining dangerous goods certification where applicable.
