ABOUT THE JOB
As a Member Service Assistant at Costco in Laval, you will greet members, check membership cards, and help control warehouse access points. You’ll support safety and security procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying receipts, and assisting members with questions. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy retail setting. For Quebec locations, candidates may need to communicate in French (oral and written).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet members at warehouse entrances and verify active memberships.
- Control access at entry and exit points and follow established safety procedures.
- Check receipts at exits to ensure accuracy of purchased items.
- Provide assistance and directions to members as needed.
- Monitor surrounding areas and report potential safety or security concerns.
- Support warehouse safety checks and follow company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance/exit area.
- Assist other warehouse departments when required.
