ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing bakery products for display and sale by wrapping, labeling, and organizing items according to established procedures. The role requires attention to detail, safe food handling practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remove bakery products from containers and prepare them for packaging.
- Garnish, drizzle icing, or apply toppings to baked goods following established formulas.
- Wrap and package bakery items by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Assemble pre-cut cardboard boxes and prepare products for display.
- Weigh, label, and stock bakery products accurately.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work area.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist in other bakery or warehouse areas as needed.
