ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bakery products according to established formulas and procedures. The position involves handling large-scale food production, operating industrial baking equipment, and ensuring that all products meet Costco’s quality and food safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and mix large quantities of ingredients following Costco formulas.
- Operate ovens and bakery equipment to bake bread, pastries, and other products.
- Roll, cut, shape, and proof dough prior to baking.
- Monitor baking processes and remove finished products at the appropriate time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery work area.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Provide prompt and courteous service when assisting members.
