About This Richmond Warehouse Position

The Warehouse Worker supports UPS Global Logistics by helping products move accurately from inbound receiving through storage, order picking, packing and final shipment. Employees may work with several customer accounts and are expected to follow established operating procedures, compliance requirements and performance standards.

The published schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., although flexibility is required. The position is based in a secure air freight warehouse environment and works under the supervision of a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Daily responsibilities cover inventory movement, order accuracy, shipment preparation and the maintenance of reliable warehouse records.

Receiving Products

Education, Experience and Screening Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous warehouse experience. Candidates should understand common warehousing practices and be comfortable working with inventory, shipment documentation and customer orders.

The selected candidate must pass a background screening that verifies employment history and residential addresses for the previous five years. Supporting documentation must be provided for any employment gap longer than 28 days during that period. This screening is a mandatory condition of employment in the secure air freight facility.
