Loblaw Companies Limited is hiring a full-time Senior Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Advisory Services in Brampton, Ontario. The position offers an annual salary ranging from CA$80,000 to CA$110,000 and focuses on enterprise risk frameworks, risk assessments, monitoring, reporting and strategic advisory work across the Loblaw group of companies.
The successful candidate will work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify emerging risks, evaluate significant business issues, improve risk management practices and prepare clear reporting for senior leadership, the Board and its sub-committees.
About the Enterprise Risk Management Role
As a Senior Analyst within Risk Advisory Services, you will support the development and execution of Loblaw’s enterprise risk management framework across businesses including Loblaw, PC Bank, Shoppers Drug Mart, Choice Properties and George Weston Limited. The role combines risk analysis, stakeholder engagement, reporting and advisory responsibilities.
You will help the organization identify, assess and manage business risks within established tolerance levels while supporting strategic planning and improvement roadmaps. The position requires a practical, business-oriented approach and the ability to communicate complex risk information clearly.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Senior Analyst will help lead risk management activities and deliver clear, actionable insights across the organization.
Enterprise Risk Assessments
Lead and support enterprise and divisional risk assessments while integrating risk management practices into strategic planning and business processes.
Risk Monitoring and Reporting
Prepare periodic and quarterly risk reports that identify changes to the organization’s risk profile and highlight significant areas requiring attention.
Executive Presentations
Develop highly visual presentations and workshop materials for senior leadership, the Board and Board sub-committees.
Mitigation Follow-Up
Establish monitoring protocols, evaluate whether mitigation plans are effective and follow up with action owners on timely remediation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to understand current challenges and emerging risks affecting the business.
Risk Advisory Improvement
Propose initiatives involving benchmarking, thought leadership, training, service quality and data-driven risk insights.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and have at least two years of experience in business operations, sales and marketing, merchandising, procurement, management consulting, project management, operational internal audit or external audit and advisory.
Candidates should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of enterprise risk theory, risk appetite, control design, monitoring and reporting is preferred, along with familiarity with frameworks such as ISO and COSO. An MBA, CPA, PMP, CRM, CIA, CISA or similar designation is considered a strong asset.

Salary, Location and Employment Conditions
This is a full-time position located at 1 President’s Choice Circle in Brampton, Ontario. Loblaw has published an annual hiring range of CA$80,000 to CA$110,000. Final compensation may depend on the candidate’s experience, knowledge and geographic region.
