Cardinal Health is hiring a Quality Inventory Control Coordinator for a full-time, 12-month contract supporting warehouse operations in Vaughan and Mississauga, Ontario. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, reconciliation, quality control and operational support across two distribution locations.
The successful candidate will spend approximately 70% of the working day on the warehouse floor and 30% completing computer-based tasks inside the warehouse. The position combines physical inventory handling, ERP and WMS analysis, returns processing, quality documentation and coordination with supply chain, customer service and distribution teams.
About This Inventory Control Position
The Quality Inventory Control Coordinator helps ensure that warehouse inventory records accurately match physical stock. This includes investigating discrepancies involving quantities, lots, expiry dates and system records while supporting the movement, storage and distribution of healthcare products.
The role also provides operational support for returns, quality holds, product master data and special programs. Because Cardinal Health supplies healthcare facilities across Canada, accuracy and product integrity are important throughout the inventory and distribution process.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The position combines inventory analysis, physical verification, quality control and day-to-day warehouse support. The successful candidate will work across several systems and operational teams.
Inventory Reconciliation
Analyze and resolve inventory differences across ERP and warehouse management systems, including SAP and AIMS.
Cycle Counts and Stock Checks
Perform physical stock counts, cycle counts and verification activities and investigate quantity, lot, expiry or location discrepancies.
Returns and Quality Control
Manage returned, damaged, expired or non-conforming products and support product quality holds, corrective actions and related documentation.
Warehouse Product Data
Maintain product master information, storage locations, weights, cube and volume attributes and help coordinate internal product movements.
Customer and Operational Support
Help resolve order, shipping and inventory availability issues and support inbound, outbound, transfer and invoicing activity.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, RA/QA, Distribution, Customer Service and suppliers to resolve inventory and product issues.
Warehouse, Returns and Quality Support
The coordinator will support return goods processing, including RGA, RA/QA and customs documentation when required. The role may also involve inspecting returned products, generating expiry and integrity reports and placing or releasing product quality holds.
Additional responsibilities may include supporting special product programs, regional freight consolidation, loading verification and floor-level operational issues. The employee may also train colleagues on basic inventory control procedures as needed.

Schedule, Physical Requirements and Compensation
The role is a full-time, 12-month contract with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Candidates must be flexible to work at both 300 Applewood Crescent in Concord and 1330 Meyerside Drive in Mississauga.
Cardinal Health lists an hourly rate of $22.25 CAD. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and must be able to lift and move products weighing up to 23 kg or 50 lbs. A high school diploma is the minimum education requirement, while four or more years of related experience is preferred.
