About the Control Brand Transformation Director Role
As Director, Control Brand Transformation, you will act as the central coordination point across Loblaw’s Control Brand transformation agenda. The role is responsible for establishing a disciplined operating rhythm that keeps strategic workstreams aligned, properly sequenced and moving toward agreed objectives.
You will support priorities such as brand transformation, annual planning, Board materials, executive reviews and other cross-functional initiatives led by the Senior Vice President. This position requires the ability to move between high-level strategy and detailed execution while influencing senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Director will coordinate complex transformation initiatives, strengthen governance and ensure senior leaders have clear visibility into priorities, risks and required decisions.
Transformation Governance
Establish and manage leadership meetings, workstream reviews, decision forums, executive updates and follow-up mechanisms across the transformation agenda.
Integrated Workplans
Coordinate timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and ownership across multiple strategic workstreams.
Executive Coordination
Work closely with the Senior Vice President to capture priorities, decisions and expectations and convert them into clear execution plans.
Risk and Issue Management
Identify risks, resource constraints, unresolved decisions and areas of misalignment while driving timely resolution with the appropriate stakeholders.
Executive Materials
Prepare concise and high-quality materials for Board discussions, annual planning, transformation updates and senior decision forums.
Stakeholder Alignment
Maintain effective information flow between the Senior Vice President, direct reports, cross-functional partners and enterprise stakeholders.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should have at least eight years of experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, program leadership, business operations, retail, consumer packaged goods or another complex matrixed environment. Previous experience within Loblaw or a similarly complex organization is strongly preferred.
Candidates should have a proven record of leading several complex workstreams simultaneously and converting large amounts of information into practical plans, clear narratives and executive-ready materials. The role may also require travel with the Senior Vice President to important meetings.

Salary, Location and Employment Requirements
This is a full-time position based at 1 President’s Choice Circle in Brampton, Ontario. Loblaw has published an annual hiring range of CA$128,000 to CA$176,000. Final compensation may depend on the candidate’s experience, knowledge and geographic location.
