Building Data Infrastructure for Alexa Audio

The Alexa Audio Data and Insights team develops the data foundations used to understand customer experiences and support new audio capabilities. Data Engineers help ensure that information from multiple sources can be processed reliably, transformed efficiently and made accessible to teams working on products and advanced AI initiatives.

This Vancouver-based role involves developing automated and fault-tolerant solutions using technologies such as Spark, EMR, Python, Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue and Amazon S3. The work supports both technical development and business analysis across a broad range of Alexa Audio services.

Data Engineering Experience

Compensation and Employment Information

Amazon has published an annual base salary range of CAD $103,300 to CAD $172,600 for this Vancouver-based position. Final compensation will depend on factors including professional experience, qualifications and location.
