ABOUT THE JOB
The Registered Pharmacy Technician works closely with the pharmacist to process prescriptions, manage inventory, and maintain accurate patient records. This position involves technical responsibilities such as prescription preparation and verification support, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process prescriptions in accordance with provincial guidelines.
- Prepare, package, and label medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and pharmacy documentation.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and stocking of pharmacy supplies.
- Support pharmacists with workflow coordination and operational tasks.
- Handle register transactions and provide courteous member service when required.
- Follow privacy, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
