ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics Sales Assistant at Costco, you will help members find the right products by answering questions, explaining features, and demonstrating merchandise on the sales floor. You will maintain strong product knowledge by staying up to date on technology trends and reading product materials. The position also involves stocking and organizing merchandise, ensuring pricing and signage accuracy, and supporting safe and efficient department operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in the electronics and major appliances area by answering questions and providing product guidance.
- Demonstrate merchandise and explain features, functions, and specifications in a clear way.
- Help members load products onto carts and support a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain product knowledge by reviewing product literature, learning new functions, and keeping up with technology trends.
- Communicate with the Area Manager regarding inventory levels, pricing, adjustments, and promotions.
- Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; return stray items and maintain high product availability.
- Ensure product signage and pricing are accurate; assist with approval checks when required.
- Participate in merchandise moves and coordinate stocking tasks with forklift drivers when needed.
- Organize security item lock-up areas and keep the sales floor clean and free of debris.
- Support other warehouse departments as needed.
