ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cake Decorator at Costco, you will be responsible for decorating cakes and other bakery items according to established formulas and presentation standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Decorate cakes and specialty bakery products using piping bags, icing, and finishing tools.
- Apply fillings, frostings, and decorative elements according to established formulas.
- Finish, package, and prepare cakes for display and sale.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, wrapping machines, and refrigeration units.
- Inspect finished products to ensure consistency, quality, and visual standards.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating and bakery work areas.
- Assist in other bakery or warehouse areas as needed.
