Building Cloud Solutions for Canadian Customers
The Associate Solutions Architect will work across AWS teams to help organizations understand how cloud technology can address technical challenges and support business growth. Customers may range from emerging start-ups to established enterprises with complex infrastructure and application requirements.
Employees in this role act as customer advocates by learning about existing systems, identifying opportunities for cloud adoption and explaining AWS best practices. The position also involves helping organizations evaluate how workloads can be migrated or modernized using secure, resilient and flexible architectures.

Technical Background and Qualifications
Candidates need programming experience with at least one modern language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell or Ruby. The employer is also looking for experience in areas such as machine learning, statistics, deep learning, natural language processing or information retrieval.
Applicants should understand at least one relevant technology domain, including analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development or machine learning. AWS or networking certifications may be beneficial but are not listed as mandatory requirements.

Compensation and Employment Information
Amazon has published an annual base salary range of CAD $75,600 to CAD $126,200 for this Toronto-based position. Final compensation is determined according to experience, qualifications and work location.
