Supporting Store Operations and Employees
The Assistant Team Leader works alongside the management team to help coordinate store operations and staff. The role remains highly hands-on, with responsibilities ranging from processing incoming shipments and stocking merchandise to helping customers and maintaining established safety and cleanliness standards.
The position also includes Manager on Duty responsibilities when required. These duties include helping ensure scheduled breaks are taken, attendance is entered correctly and operational procedures continue to be followed throughout the shift. Cash management and store opening and closing responsibilities may also form part of the workday.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Assistant Team Leader supports both the management team and store associates while contributing directly to merchandise handling, customer service and daily operational priorities.
Store and Staff Support
Assist the management team with daily store operations and help coordinate employees and operational priorities.
Shipment and Stocking
Box and unbox daily shipments and stock products on shelves according to established presentation standards.
Customer Service
Provide helpful customer service and assist with resolving customer issues that arise during store operations.
Manager on Duty Tasks
Help ensure employee breaks are taken, attendance is entered and daily operational responsibilities are completed.
Cash and Store Procedures
Perform cash management responsibilities and assist with store opening and closing duties when required.
Employee Training

Experience and Availability Requirements
