Amazon Web Services Canada is hiring a ProServe Account Executive in Montreal, Quebec, to support public-sector customers with cloud transformation initiatives, professional services engagements and long-term technology strategies.
This bilingual position combines technology consulting sales, account management and strategic customer engagement. The successful candidate will work with AWS sales teams, cloud architects and public-sector organizations across Quebec to define business objectives, develop professional services proposals and support successful cloud adoption programs.
Supporting AWS Professional Services in Quebec
The ProServe Account Executive acts as a strategic partner to public-sector customers rather than focusing only on traditional product sales. The role requires a strong understanding of customer priorities, procurement processes and technology transformation objectives in order to identify relevant AWS Professional Services engagements.
Once a project begins, the account executive remains involved with the customer to help ensure agreed business outcomes are being achieved. The position therefore combines business development with ongoing relationship management and collaboration across multiple AWS technical and commercial teams.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Daily responsibilities focus on developing trusted customer relationships, coordinating professional services opportunities and helping Quebec public-sector organizations move complex cloud initiatives forward.
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with public-sector customers by understanding their business priorities, technology challenges and transformation goals.
Professional Services Proposals
Identify suitable AWS Professional Services offerings, develop proposals and support the approval of project scopes and statements of work.
Public Procurement
Lead discussions involving Quebec and Canadian public-sector procurement practices, contracting requirements and tendering processes.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with AWS account teams, cloud architects and other specialists to provide customers with a coordinated approach.
Project Follow-Through
Maintain engagement after projects launch to monitor outcomes, customer satisfaction and opportunities for additional value.
Business Development
Develop high-value customer partnerships while balancing customer objectives with AWS Professional Services business priorities.
Experience and Language Requirements
Candidates need more than eight years of technology sales experience, or more than ten years of relevant professional experience. Amazon is also seeking a demonstrated record of exceeding sales goals through a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
Experience with procurement and tendering processes in the Quebec public sector is required, together with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Fluency in both French and English, including written and verbal communication, is mandatory because the role works regularly with French-speaking stakeholders in Canada and Amazon teams internationally.

Compensation and Employment Information
Amazon has published an annual base salary range of CAD $123,600 to CAD $206,300 for this Montreal-based position. Final compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications and location.
