About This Institutional Client Service Role
The Senior Client Account Manager will support institutional clients using J.P. Morgan Asset Management products and services. The role is not primarily focused on giving investment advice. Instead, it centres on account coordination, onboarding, documentation, cash-flow activity, regulatory communication and ongoing relationship support. Key Areas of Responsibility
The position covers the full client service lifecycle, from onboarding and documentation through ongoing account maintenance and coordination with third parties. Strong organization and follow-through will be essential when managing several institutional relationships at the same time.
Daily Client Service
Act as a primary contact for assigned institutional clients and respond to non-investment questions, requests and account servicing needs.
Client Onboarding
Coordinate legal agreements, account setup, internal approvals and communication with clients and third parties during the onboarding process.
Account Maintenance
Maintain accurate client records, support cash-flow activity and ensure required servicing tasks are completed according to internal procedures.
Regulatory Communication
Help communicate relevant regulatory or business changes to clients and internal stakeholders when those changes may affect account servicing.
Third-Party Coordination
Respond to requests from auditors, consultants and other authorized third parties while ensuring that information is handled accurately and appropriately.
Strategic Relationship Support
Partner with senior account managers, sales teams and investment specialists to provide coordinated service for important institutional client relationships.
Asset Classes and Client Coverage
Candidates should have experience working with institutional clients in an asset management environment and understand the servicing requirements associated with different investment products. J.P. Qualifications, Compensation and Workplace Details
JPMorgan Chase requires a bachelor’s degree together with previous experience at an asset management firm and a background serving institutional clients. An advanced degree, Chartered Financial Analyst designation or other relevant financial qualification is considered an asset. The published base salary range for this Toronto position is $90,000 to $140,000 CAD. The role is full time and based at 150 King Street in Toronto.
