Promote strong engineering practices across coding, reviews, source control, testing, deployment, certification and live-site operations.
Experience Required for This Position
Candidates need at least three years of engineering team management experience and seven years of direct experience working within engineering organizations. The posting also requires substantial experience leading the development of multi-tier web services.
Applicants should have experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including work involving design patterns, reliability and scaling. Knowledge of the complete software, hardware and network development lifecycle is also required, along with experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Compensation and Employment Information
Amazon has published an annual base salary range of CAD $171,400 to CAD $286,200 for this Vancouver-based position. Final compensation will depend on professional experience, qualifications and location.
