About This UPS Package Driver Position

The position is based at 1101 Blair Road in Burlington and follows a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule beginning at 9:15 a.m. Flexibility with both start and finish times is required based on operational needs, and occasional Monday shifts may also be necessary.

Drivers should be capable of lifting packages weighing up to 70 pounds without assistance, although typical package weights range between 25 and 35 pounds.
Applicants must also maintain a clean Driver’s Abstract that meets UPS requirements, be proficient in using maps or GPS navigation and be available to work Tuesday through Saturday with flexibility for occasional Monday shifts. Employees work outdoors in varying weather conditions as well as inside warehouse facilities.

UPS offers a starting wage of CAD $20.00 per hour, with guaranteed wage progression through the union collective agreement to CAD $35.89 per hour after 48 months of service.
