About the Endpoint Systems Support Role

The Endpoint Systems Support Analyst helps maintain the workstation technologies used across Tangerine’s business operations. The role supports Windows desktops and laptops, Apple Mac devices, virtual machines, virtual desktop infrastructure, mobile devices, network printers, and related business applications.

The successful candidate will respond to incidents and service requests, configure equipment for new employees, manage endpoint images, apply software and security updates, maintain device inventories, and support the secure operation of Tangerine’s technology environment. The role requires hands-on technical knowledge and the ability to work across several endpoint platforms.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The position combines endpoint engineering, technical support, device administration, security maintenance, deployment coordination, and operational improvement.

Endpoint Administration

Administer and support Windows, Mac, mobile, virtual machine, virtual desktop, and printer environments across Tangerine locations.

Device Deployment

Build, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, Mac devices, mobile hardware, virtual desktops, and related applications.

Second-Level Support

Investigate and resolve hardware, software, operating system, application, printer, and remote-access incidents escalated through ServiceNow.

Security and Patching

Apply monthly security patches, application updates, service packs, and vulnerability remediation across managed endpoint environments.

Image Management

Maintain Windows, Mac, and VMware VDI endpoint images using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, JAMF, and internal tools.

Hardware Lifecycle Support

Coordinate hardware refreshes, end-of-life replacements, internal moves, inventory tracking, and equipment setup for new employees.

Education and Technical Experience

Applicants should have a degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related subject, together with at least three years of hands-on experience in workstation support, help desk operations, or customer-facing technical support.

The role requires practical experience with Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Office 2016 and Microsoft 365, Exchange, Outlook, virtual desktop environments, Mac OS, iOS, VMware, Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, JAMF, and corporate domain environments.
