Key Responsibilities for the Full-Time Delivery Driver Role
As a Full-Time Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering packages in residential areas in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining UPS’s appearance guidelines.
- Operating the delivery vehicle and following all road safety regulations.
- Using maps and navigation tools to determine efficient delivery routes.
- Handling packages weighing up to 70 lbs (35 kg) unassisted, and up to 150 lbs (68 kg) with assistance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the Full-Time Delivery Driver Role
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Driver’s License: A valid Ontario G or higher license.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract: No accidents, maximum 5 demerit points over the past 3 years, and no more than 2 violations in the last 36 months.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs (35 kg) unassisted and 150 lbs (68 kg) with assistance.
- Navigation Skills: Ability to read maps and navigate delivery routes efficiently.
- Customer Service Skills: Experience delivering exceptional customer service.
Shift Information for the Full-Time Delivery Driver Role
This position requires working Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts starting between 9:30 AM and 7 PM. Shift durations may vary depending on delivery volume, ranging from 5 to 12 hours per day.
