Costco is hiring a Pharmacy Student to support pharmacy operations at its warehouse in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role provides hands-on experience assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, patient service, and daily pharmacy activities under direct supervision.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Pharmacy Student, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support prescription distribution and patient care. You will assist with data entry, medication preparation, customer service, and administrative tasks while following provincial regulations, company policies, and professional standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists with prescription entry, preparation, and documentation.
- Retrieve, count, label, and package medications under supervision.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to pharmacy patients.
- Process payments and transactions according to established procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records.
- Support inventory management and pharmacy organization.
