Tire Installer – Costco Wholesale, Mississauga, ON

Costco Wholesale is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Tire Installer to join our team at the Mississauga Tire Centre, 5900 Rodeo Drive. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a passion for automotive service, customer interaction, and delivering high-quality tire installation.

You will perform tasks like tire balancing, repairs, and TPMS resets, ensuring every member receives exceptional service and vehicle safety.

About the Job

As a Tire Installer, you will handle tire installations, rotations, and repairs, while ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures. You’ll also engage directly with members to recommend products, process payments, and complete service paperwork.

Your attention to detail will help maintain Costco’s exceptional standards in automotive service.

Key Responsibilities for the Tire Installer

Your tasks will focus on tire installation, vehicle handling, and member service:

• Balances, installs, and rotates tires; repairs flats to industry standards.
• Performs TPMS resets and installs new valve stems or service packs.
• Operates hydraulic hoists, mounting machines, and wheel balancers.
• Drives member vehicles safely into bays and parking lots.
• Processes sales and service invoices, provides quotes, and handles payments.
• Assists with propane tank refills (if certified).
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and performs daily equipment checks.
• Communicates with the team, managers, and members to ensure smooth operations.

Minimum Qualifications for the Tire Installer

Candidates must meet the following:

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must pass Costco Tire Certification test.
  • Propane certification and TDG (if applicable).
• Experience: Tire installation or tire sales experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications for the Tire Installer

• Familiarity with wheel balancing and TPMS systems.
