ABOUT THE JOB
The Service Deli Clerk position focuses on preparing and assembling deli meals and party trays while following established recipes and food safety standards. You will operate deli equipment, stock displays, and keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a high-quality experience for members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare deli foods such as salads, entrées, party trays, rotisserie chicken, ribs, and pizzas.
- Assemble ready-to-eat meals and snacks according to established guidelines.
- Slice meats and cheeses using approved equipment and techniques.
- Package, weigh, label, and stock deli products for sale.
- Operate deli equipment safely, including ovens, slicers, and mixers.
- Monitor food quality, temperatures, and freshness throughout production.
- Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, equipment, and displays.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members.
- Assist with additional deli or warehouse tasks as needed.
