Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to join our Enterprise Application Migrations and Modernization team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business revenue by identifying customer needs and matching them with AWS solutions, focusing on Enterprise Applications such as Microsoft, SAP, and VMware.
As a Specialist Seller, you will work closely with AWS customers to accelerate service adoption and ensure their success by leveraging AWS services.

About the Team
The Amazon Global Sales organization positions AWS as the best place to run Microsoft-based workloads. As part of this team, you will work with strategic customers and account teams to pursue opportunities for enterprise application workloads and datacenter migration projects.
You will engage with our sales, solutions architects, and partner teams to drive complex opportunities to closure, helping customers migrate services to the AWS cloud while providing a secure and scalable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Identify and engage high-value customer opportunities within specific accounts.
- Sales Strategy: Own the full-cycle sales engagement plan with prospective customers.
- Service Knowledge: Maintain an operating knowledge of the AWS service catalog relevant to your domain specialty.
- Customer Advisory: Act as a trusted customer advisor to help close deals and ensure customer retention.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $111,300 to $185,800 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and location. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, sign-on payments, health coverage, and opportunities for career growth within a dynamic environment.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives.
- 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
- Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account.
- Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets.
- Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
