FedEx Supply Chain Canada is hiring a full-time Sanitation Associate in Richmond, British Columbia, to help maintain clean, sanitary and organized warehouse and office areas.
This day-shift position supports workplace safety, product quality and efficient distribution operations by keeping facility areas clean and ready for daily activity. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with advertised pay of $23.50 CAD per hour.
Maintaining a Safe and Clean Distribution Facility

Cleaning Equipment
Operate approved sanitation equipment safely and efficiently while following established facility procedures.
Supply Monitoring

Equipment Inspections
When trained, inspect sweeper-scrubber equipment before and after use to confirm proper condition and operation.
Facility Observation
Identify unclean areas, operational waste or other conditions that may affect workplace safety or warehouse flow.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma is preferred for this position. Previous sanitation or janitorial experience is also preferred, although the posting places considerable emphasis on the ability to follow procedures, communicate effectively and complete physical cleaning tasks throughout the facility.
Candidates must be able to read, speak and understand English sufficiently to complete assignments and follow workplace instructions. Employees are also expected to adapt to changing tasks and work environments while maintaining consistent standards for cleanliness and safety.

Employees must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift and perform physical tasks using a full range of motion throughout the warehouse. Candidates must also be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and have sufficient visual ability to safely perform essential job functions.
