ABOUT THE JOB
As a Pharmacy Technician at Costco, you will assist with dispensing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily pharmacy workflows. The position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to safety, privacy, and regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions and preparing medications.
- Receive written prescriptions, retrieve refills, and process register transactions.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient and prescription records in the system.
- Prepare prescriptions by counting, labeling, and packaging medications as permitted.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, safety, and provincial pharmacy regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service.
