ABOUT THE JOB
The Personal Care Specialist position focuses on patient support, case coordination, and healthcare service management within Cencora’s pharmacy and clinical operations. The successful candidate will work closely with patients, physicians, nurses, and internal healthcare teams to facilitate treatment coordination, documentation, scheduling, and ongoing patient assistance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support patients through inbound and outbound communication regarding treatments and services.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals and internal teams to manage patient cases.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy standards.
- Assist with scheduling, reimbursement coordination, and therapy support processes.
- Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Monitor ongoing cases and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and healthcare regulations.
