ABOUT THE JOB
As an Optician / Contact Lens Practitioner at Costco, you will assist members with eyewear and contact lens selection, verify prescriptions, and ensure products meet optical and safety standards. The position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong customer-focused approach while working in a high-volume warehouse optical environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members with selecting eyeglasses, frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
- Verify and interpret optical prescriptions accurately.
- Fit, adjust, and dispense eyewear and contact lenses according to standards.
- Provide guidance on proper use, care, and maintenance of eyewear and lenses.
- Process optical orders, payments, and documentation.
- Maintain optical merchandise, inventory, and displays.
- Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and optical standards.
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional member service.
