ABOUT THE JOB
As a Loss Prevention Clerk at Costco, you will monitor warehouse activity to identify potential theft, safety, or security risks. The position involves observation, reporting, documentation, and collaboration with management and local authorities when required, following established procedures and applicable laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Walk the warehouse and perimeter to observe and monitor safety and security concerns.
- Detect, observe, and document suspicious activity or potential loss incidents.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed written reports.
- Identify internal and external theft situations and report findings to management.
- Preserve evidence and maintain accurate records related to investigations.
- Collaborate with other loss prevention team members and warehouse management.
- Follow all Costco procedures, policies, and applicable laws.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.
