ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food Service Assistant at Costco in Laval, you will help prepare and serve menu items in the warehouse Food Court. You’ll assist with cooking, assembling orders, operating basic kitchen equipment, and maintaining clean workstations. This position requires attention to food safety, teamwork, and the ability to provide friendly and prompt member service. For Quebec locations, candidates may need to communicate in French (oral and written).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and assemble food items such as hot dogs, pizzas, and other menu offerings following department procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, food warmers, and beverage dispensers.
- Serve members efficiently while maintaining accuracy in order preparation.
- Handle cash register transactions when required and follow cash handling procedures.
- Restock food, supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, counters, dining spaces, and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist other warehouse areas when necessary.
