Costco is hiring a Food Service Assistant in Langley, BC to support the Food Court. This role helps prepare and serve food and beverages, restock supplies, maintain cleanliness, and deliver a fast, friendly experience for members.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food Service Assistant in Costco’s Food Court, you’ll support daily operations by preparing menu items, serving members, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized. You’ll work in a busy environment where speed, food safety, and teamwork are essential, while following Costco standards and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve food and beverages following Food Court recipes and procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with basic food prep tasks.
- Stock and rotate ingredients and supplies (including coolers/freezers) as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas, counters, dining area, and dishwashing stations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards.
- Handle orders and support cash-handling processes according to department procedures (as required).
- Provide prompt, courteous member service and help manage rush periods efficiently.
- Assist other warehouse departments as required.
