ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cashier Assistant at Costco, you’ll work alongside cashiers to help manage member orders efficiently and accurately. The role involves packing items, retrieving carts, maintaining the checkout area, and delivering high standards of member service in a busy warehouse environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pack member purchases into boxes or carts and assist during the checkout process.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking area and maintain cart availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front-end and checkout lanes.
- Assist with merchandise restocking and front-end support tasks as needed.
- Follow safety and security procedures while handling merchandise and equipment.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and helpful service to members.
- Support other warehouse departments when required.
