Bakery Wrapper – Costco Wholesale, Edmonton, AB

Costco Wholesale is hiring a Bakery Wrapper to join our team at the Edmonton warehouse, 12450 149th Street. This full-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, handling bakery products, and providing excellent member service.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for garnishing, wrapping, labeling, and stocking baked goods, ensuring the bakery department maintains product quality and presentation standards.

About the Job

As a Bakery Wrapper, you will work hands-on with bakery products, preparing them for display and sale. Your attention to detail and knowledge of Costco’s bakery standards will help maintain product freshness, quality, and appearance.

This role also includes customer interaction, keeping the bakery area clean, and supporting the team with additional bakery tasks.

Key Responsibilities for the Bakery Wrapper

• Garnishes, wraps, and labels baked goods according to Costco’s standards.
• Operates wrapping machines and assembles packaging.
• Weighs and labels products, ensuring accurate information and quality control.
• Monitors inventory, rotates stock, and ensures health and safety compliance.
• Provides courteous service to members and assists with product inquiries.
• Maintains clean and organized bakery and sales areas.
• Assists with other bakery duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications for the Bakery Wrapper

Candidates must meet the following:

• Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required on the first day.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Skills: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle physical work.
