FedEx Supply Chain Canada is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator in Brantford, Ontario, to support product receiving, storage, order fulfilment and warehouse distribution operations.
This overnight position runs Sunday through Thursday from 10:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. The role focuses on safe powered-equipment operation, pallet movement, inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse workflow within a large-scale supply chain environment.
Supporting Warehouse Distribution Operations
Forklift Operators play an important role in moving products safely and accurately through FedEx Supply Chain facilities. The work includes transferring pallets between storage and fulfilment areas, supporting order picking and helping maintain reliable inventory records.
Employees must remain attentive to product condition, storage accuracy and warehouse safety while working with powered material handling equipment. The role also requires flexibility as daily priorities may change based on business volume and operational demand.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Quality Control

Inventory Maintenance
Support storage-location accuracy through daily cycle counts and other routine inventory-control activities.
Equipment Inspections
Complete required pre-operation and post-operation checklists to confirm safe equipment condition and readiness.
Education and Equipment Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be able to operate basic powered material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts in a warehouse environment.
The role excludes Order Picker, Turret and Drexel equipment. Employees should also be comfortable working on equipment at extended heights and must follow all applicable safety procedures and operational standards while handling products and warehouse machinery.

Schedule, Pay and Physical Requirements
This is a full-time overnight position scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 10:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. Starting pay is $25.13 CAD per hour, increasing to $28.00 CAD per hour after the 90-day probationary period, plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential.
Employees must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, complete physical tasks through a full range of motion and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The role also requires sufficient visual ability to safely perform essential warehouse functions.
