JPMorganChase is hiring a full-time Corporate Banker – Global Corporate Banking Executive Director in Calgary, Alberta. This senior leadership position supports the Commercial & Investment Bank by developing and expanding corporate banking relationships across Western Canada.
The successful candidate will work closely with investment banking and product specialists to deliver financing, treasury, capital markets and risk management solutions for corporate clients. About the Executive Director Role
As an Executive Director within Global Corporate Banking, you will lead client coverage across a broad range of corporate banking products while building long-term relationships with large corporate organizations throughout Western Canada. The position combines strategic business development with credit oversight, revenue generation and collaboration across JPMorganChase’s global banking network.
You will partner with investment banking coverage teams and product specialists to identify new business opportunities, structure financial solutions and support corporate clients with lending, treasury, debt capital markets, foreign exchange, securities services, asset management and other financial products.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The Executive Director will lead strategic client coverage while supporting business growth and maintaining a disciplined risk management framework.
Business Development
Develop new corporate banking relationships across Western Canada and support business growth through coordinated client coverage and strategic engagement.
Executive Client Relationships
Build and strengthen relationships with senior executives, treasury leaders and key corporate decision-makers.
Product Solutions
Collaborate with product specialists to deliver tailored banking solutions including lending, cash management, FX, debt capital markets and treasury services.
Credit Risk Management
Lead internal credit approval processes, evaluate lending opportunities and oversee ongoing credit quality monitoring.
Client Onboarding
Coordinate the onboarding of new corporate clients while presenting business opportunities and credit cases to internal committees.
Revenue Growth
Maintain responsibility for top-line revenue growth while balancing client service, profitability and sound risk-adjusted returns.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have at least ten years of experience covering publicly listed and privately owned corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to develop executive-level relationships, originate new business opportunities and successfully close complex financial transactions.
Strong knowledge of corporate banking products is required, including commercial lending, debt capital markets, cash management, foreign exchange, interest rate products and structured financial solutions. Experience with credit risk management and familiarity with the natural resources sector will be valuable for this position.
