Costco is hiring an Optical Student in Langley, BC. This role supports the Optical department by assisting members with eyewear needs, processing orders, handling payments, and maintaining an organized and clean department.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Optical Student at Costco, you’ll assist with daily Optical department operations by helping members choose eyewear, processing and receiving orders, and supporting fitting and adjustments as permitted under supervision and provincial guidelines. You’ll also help manage merchandise, keep the department clean, and provide excellent member service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members in selecting eyeglass frames and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Process and ring up orders for eyewear and related products according to procedures.
- Receive and verify deliveries, handle paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
- Support fitting and basic adjustments as permitted and under supervision, following provincial regulations.
- Maintain department cleanliness and organization, including restocking supplies and merchandise.
- Follow cash-handling and security procedures when processing payments.
- Help with inventory tasks and product storage according to department standards.
- Assist other warehouse departments as needed.
