ABOUT THE JOB
The Food Service Assistant position focuses on preparing and serving food court items while following established recipes, food safety standards, and cleanliness procedures. You will assist with food preparation, operate kitchen equipment, restock supplies, and help ensure a smooth and efficient food court experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare food items such as hot dogs, pizzas, burgers, fries, and baked goods following established recipes.
- Operate food service equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, and beverage machines.
- Assemble orders accurately and serve members in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, serving stations, tables, and equipment.
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and condiments as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements at all times.
- Monitor food quality, temperatures, and expiration dates.
- Dispose of waste properly and assist with cleaning and closing procedures.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service.
- Assist with additional food court or warehouse tasks as required.
