ABOUT THE JOB
The Loss Prevention Clerk position focuses on preventing internal and external theft while promoting a safe shopping environment. You will observe warehouse activity, document incidents, support investigations, and work closely with management and local authorities when required, all while following established policies and legal requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor warehouse activity to identify potential theft, safety, or security concerns.
- Observe, detect, and report suspicious behavior within the warehouse.
- Prepare written reports and documentation related to incidents and investigations.
- Assist with internal and external theft investigations as directed.
- Maintain accurate records and evidence for potential follow-up actions.
- Support audits and identify opportunities to reduce loss and improve procedures.
- Communicate findings to management and follow established escalation processes.
- Work with local law enforcement when necessary, following company guidelines.
- Participate in training related to loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety, legal, and company policies at all times.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
