ABOUT THE JOB
As a Meat Assistant, you will assist with wrapping, labeling, and stocking meat products for sale. The position involves operating wrapping equipment, maintaining clean and organized display cases, and supporting overall meat department production in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap and label meat products using automatic wrapping machines.
- Stock and rotate products in refrigerated display cases.
- Operate meat department equipment such as grinders as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members.
