ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for producing fresh baked goods according to established formulas and procedures. The position includes handling ingredients, operating bakery equipment, monitoring baking processes, and ensuring products meet Costco’s quality and presentation standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure, mix, and combine ingredients according to Costco recipes and production formulas.
- Prepare bakery products using mixers, dividers, sheeters, and other bakery equipment.
- Operate ovens, monitor baking times, and adjust temperatures as needed.
- Finish baked products, including cooling, handling, and preparation for display.
- Ensure all products meet quality, consistency, and freshness standards.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines at all times.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service when required.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
