ABOUT THE JOB
As a Meat Assistant at Costco, you will help prepare meat products for sale by wrapping, labeling, stocking displays, and assisting with equipment operation. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to sanitation procedures, and a strong commitment to providing excellent member service in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap and label meat products using wrapping machines.
- Stock and maintain meat display cases and product areas.
- Inspect and rewrap products as needed to ensure freshness and quality.
- Operate meat grinders and other department equipment following safety guidelines.
- Move products using carts or racks and rotate stock appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service.
