Tim Hortons is hiring an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations at our Vancouver, British Columbia location. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and a desire to grow within one of Canada’s most iconic brands.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, including team development, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and operational excellence.
About the Job
As a key leader in the restaurant, you will ensure the team consistently delivers great guest experiences, adheres to Tim Hortons standards, and maintains a clean, safe, and productive work environment. You’ll work closely with your team to implement systems that enhance productivity and drive success.
This is a hands-on role where you will mentor team members, ensure operational compliance, and contribute to the restaurant’s overall performance.
Key Responsibilities for the Restaurant Manager
In this role, you will take ownership of restaurant operations while guiding and motivating your team to consistently exceed expectations.
- Lead, train, and support team members, creating a positive and efficient work environment.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory, and labor control.
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Control food and labor costs, utilizing reports and planning tools to drive profitability.
- Provide excellent guest service, handling concerns professionally and ensuring satisfaction.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts, helping to drive store traffic and sales.
- Coach supervisors and shift leads, encouraging leadership development within your team.
Minimum Qualifications for the Restaurant Manager
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in restaurant operations and be passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in food service or hospitality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with inventory, scheduling, and POS systems.
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
