ABOUT THE JOB
As a Registered Pharmacy Technician at Costco, you’ll work closely with pharmacists to support prescription processing and patient service. You’ll assist with receiving and preparing prescriptions, handling inventory, processing transactions, and maintaining documentation while ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and processing prescriptions according to standards and regulations.
- Receive and input prescription information accurately using pharmacy systems.
- Process register transactions and follow cash-handling and security procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements.
- Order, receive, and stock medications, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise.
- Support inventory control and help maintain organized storage areas.
- Prepare documentation and maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to members at the pharmacy counter.
- Assist other warehouse departments as required.
